ZEISS Unveils Pro-Series Tripods: Built for Hunters, Shooters, and Nature Enthusiasts

With the new ZEISS Pro-Series tripods, the renowned German brand raises the bar in support systems for optics and precision rifles, delivering cutting-edge stability and design for hunters, competitive shooters, and nature observers alike.

Stable, durable, easy to handle, and built to last a lifetime, the Pro-Series comes as complete kits offering everything a demanding user needs—no separate accessories required.

Three models for every need

Three models stand out in this new range: the Pro-Series LIGHTWEIGHT, designed for those who prioritize lightness and portability; the Pro-Series UNIVERSAL, focused on delivering maximum stability and versatility even with heavy gear; and the new Pro-Series MAX-DUTY, the top-tier model designed specifically for competitive professionals, long-range shooters, and users requiring peak performance in the most extreme conditions.

High-end shared features

All models share a solid foundation: 10-layer carbon fiber legs, enlarged twist locks for easy and silent adjustment, a removable center column, optimized rubber feet (with spikes included), and an Arca-Swiss mounting system with an anti-slip adapter plate. Additionally, users can adjust the leg angle (24°, 55°, and 85°) with one hand—even while wearing gloves.

Versatility and precision

The ZEISS head, included in the LIGHTWEIGHT and UNIVERSAL kits, ensures smooth, precise movements—ideal for spotting scopes, cameras, binoculars, or precision rifles. Its telescopic handle, adaptable for left- or right-handed use, and ergonomic controls make it intuitive and comfortable to use in any situation.

Tailored model specifications

The LIGHTWEIGHT model, with slimmer legs (28–25–22 mm), weighs just 2.1 kg and is perfect for birdwatchers, naturalists, or mountain hunters who need to move fast without compromising stability. It supports up to 40 kg and reaches a maximum height of 176 cm.

The UNIVERSAL model features thicker legs (36–32–28 mm), providing outstanding stability for larger or heavier equipment. It supports up to 60 kg and reaches a height of 185 cm with the center column extended, while maintaining a lightweight build of only 2.8 kg.

And for those who want it all, the MAX-DUTY arrives—the most advanced tripod ever built by ZEISS. Available in two configurations—MAX-DUTY V with a V-60 head (115° multidirectional adjustment), and MAX-DUTY L with a low-profile L-55 head (90° tilt)—this model offers a load capacity of up to 30 kg, ultra-fast deployment via a single adjustment point per leg, and oversized carbon legs (36/40/44 mm) with inverted design and engraved level markings. Its maximum height is 187 cm, and it folds down to just 88 cm without the column and head, making it easy to carry. The entire system is optimized for use with cold, wet hands or gloves, and its robust, nearly indestructible design is built for high-pressure situations where every second counts.
